Barry and Tammy Barnett bring years of experience in the commercial cattle industry to their journey into registered Black Brangus. With a passion for producing cattle that excel both in the pasture and in the show ring, they are committed to building a program around quality, performance, and proven genetics. They have carefully sought out the latest and greatest genetics in the breed while selecting superior females to anchor their Embryo Transfer program, laying the foundation for a herd built to perform today and for generations to come.

About the Ranch

Rafter B Ranch proudly operates from two locations in Texas, with ranches in both Cleburne and Brownwood. The heart of the operation is the main Ranch Headquarters in Cleburne, where the Rafter B Ranch legacy, cattle, and day-to-day operations all come together.

Rafter B Ranch is a family-owned ranch dedicated to raising quality cattle for both the commercial beef industry and the registered Black Brangus market. Our Black Brangus program is built around a powerful combination of 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman genetics, bringing together the strengths of both breeds. This unique cross offers the heat tolerance, disease resistance, adaptability, and maternal ability of Brahman, combined with the superior carcass quality, black hide, and naturally polled genetics of Angus. At Rafter B Ranch, we are committed to developing Black Brangus cattle that are built to perform in the pasture while delivering the quality and genetics today's cattle producers are looking for.
